Im starting college in a little more than a month, and im trying to use my laptop as little as possible before i start school. When i do use it, should i take the battery out and just run AC power, or should i leave it in even though its fully charged, or should i cycle it?
    thanks

search, one of the most questioned topics. and most people have just opinons that range the entire spectrum.

btw, what does not using it do for you? Just use it.

just to keep it "fresh" lol. Why put an extra 100(more or less) hours on it before college? That could do alot to my battery if i use it improperly

I hope u dont drive that truck the way u use ur battery, that be a real shame right there. The other pple were right, if u bought it...use it. I understand that ur tryin to get the most out of ur battery, but taking all those precautions wont net u a difference, if any.
