At the begining of this week the 6000 had 20% off, now its $250. I missed the 20% and I was wondering if I should wait for it to come back or just buy it now. The rep on the phone said the offers change on Thursdays. Does anybody watch these to see any trends of the past?
I would like to make my puchase but I want the best deal.
    Any ideas?

    I want the 6000
    730 Processor(1.60)
    WUXGA LCD
    1 512 Dimm
    128 mb graphics
    60gb hard drive

    Thanks

Check out the home page of this site for much better deals than Dell publishes on their own site.

I've looked at the specials from this site.
The employees of the company that I work for receives a extra 16% discount off a purchase, but you can't receive it in conjunction with the $400 off. You only receive it when you are offered the $250 or the percentage off special. If I want a lower price I would have to wait for the sale the had before Thursday, which I believe was 20% off. It was about $75 different.
Or I just buy it now and chalk it up to learning a lesson and not procrastinating.

    Thanks

The 6000 has had a full 34% off several times. You might want to hold out for that.

Oops... sorry about the blank message above.

Is it just me, or does it seem to be the case that everytime Dell offers the 6000 at 34% off they don't offer the option of a dedicated video card? In addition to omitting the option for the 7200rpm 60GB hard drive.
