I have to buy a new laptop, Ive got 1250 dollars and Id like to spend them ona a dell e1705. Itd be perfect if it had the best gpu and a nice battery. Any suggestions on how i could get the best deal?

Dell's "10 Days Of Deals" ends after today, and today's featured deal is the E1705. You can build a pimped-out system with a GeForce 7900 GS for under $1300...

Deal ends after midnight, so hurry. -
You could also keep your eyes peeled and keep a lookout on Dell's Online Outlet.

the longer you wait, the better deal you could get.

true, but in general, the prices would generally tend to get lower as days go by.

Thanks bought the Dell today

Yeah, they would get lower, but then you'd be looking at something else because there would be better stuff out

I just went on dell.com right now and this is how much I would of paid for the E1705: http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=E1705RFC1&s=dhs
However, a month ago I paid this: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Dell-E1705-...890503659QQcategoryZ42201QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (actual payment was $1580). -
prices will always go down, but then again, you may miss a great deal if you pass one by. Just get the notebook when you need it.

rydude is right. Sure, prices will generally go down, but if you can use a big coupon now, I'd do it; since even if the prices go down a little, there's no guarantee that there will be a coupon available at that time.
Best deal on a E1705
