i saw one the other day that i believe was $415 off a particular model bringing up the total to $699 without tax. i was tempted to jump on it although getting a new notebook not being totally urgent decided against it. do the deals get much better than that or was i foolish not to jump on it when i had the chance?

Have to see that rebate to believe it...most coupons are well below half of tat unless you get student discount or EPP or a specific program
-
i'm sure someone can vouch for me here. it was just this last saturday i believe. a one day deal and was featured in the "laptop deals" section of the site.

They have $400 coupons on occasion, if you're in no big hurry don't worry about it. You probably won't see better, but you'll see as good every once in a while.

I saw that deal...
If you followed it through to the end of ordering it didn't actually save you all that much. It didn't combine with the other upgrades that they are offering (memory and hard drive space) so adding those on made it less of a deal.
The $300 off with the upgrade of HD and memory is the best I've seen so far, although I've only been shopping for about two weeks. -
july 9 was the best day...glitches...those are good.
