    Hi,

I've just placed my order will Dell Ireland for a M1330 :D (Spec as in sig) and am looking to find out what RAM to get for it. I'm looking to get 4GB RAM as I plan on installing 64-bit Vista Ultimate on the laptop. I've read on this forum that it is not worthwhile to buy 800Mhz RAM as the Santa Rosa platform runs at 667Mhz...

So how do you know which is the best 4GB 667Mhz RAM to go for? And also where is the cheapest place to buy this RAM (that deliver to Ireland)?

I don't know about the above link posted but being in your part of the world (I'm in the UK) there seems to be a smaller selection of higher quality RAM available locally than in the USA. I bought my 4GB (upgrading my M1330 from 1GB) from www.memoryc.com . I admit they are not the cheapest I've seen but short of ordering from the US, they seemed the best option available to me. I'm not sure if they post to S. Ireland but I'm sure N.Ireland is part UK. Hope this helps...
