Is there a reason why you're limiting yourself to shop for USB speakers and only on the Dell website?

I'd prefer the Dell website since I have a credit to spend :)

After viewing several speaker addons, I'll also consider headphone jack plug in ones instead of USB. I've been browsing them for a few hours and I'm leaning towards:

    X-540 5.1 Surround Speaker System

...but I'm not sure. I want something that blows me away while I play Battlefield/COD or watch movies.

Thoughts on it, or something better? :)

    thanks guys <3

    The Logitech Brand is good.

To bad you can't go above $100. The Logitech Z523's are sweet.

If you want to stick with Dell, the Dell™ AY410 Multimedia Speaker System, are nice :)

Check the Logitech Z323's, also :)

Altec Lansing makes some nice Laptop Speakers also :)

In that case, the X-540 would be your best option. The power and frequency range is better than any other 2.1 speaker below the $100 price point that is offered by Dell. A few other things to note before you purchase the X-540. Since it's a 5.1 system, you may want to double check if your laptop can support that. Most laptops will only have stereo outputs and although the X-540 will still work with stereo and imitate 5.1 sound via the "Matrix" mode, you won't be able to experience its full potential. To get around this, you'll need to invest in an external sound card that support true 5.1 sound.

You may also want to check out the "Mini Review" that *jeremysdad* here on the forum did on the Dell AY410 2.1 Speaker System (from one of the links I included above! : )
