    Best LCD output for my Dell XPS 1530 laptop ?

    Dear Friends,

    Good day to All,

    Please kindly help me with buying a new LCD Monitor /TV as an output screen for my new XPS 1530.

    There are several options available in the market which adds to the confusion.Some of these options are :

    1) LCD TV

    2)LCD Wide screen TV

    3)LCD Monitor

    4) Plasma TV

    Please kindly suggest which of the above is the best option for my laptop .

    I have some questions :

    1) Which LCD TV or monitor are you using ie size,resolution etc?

    2)Is watching laptop output on the LCD TV and LCD Monitor the same provided the resolutions are same on the TV and monitor ?

    3)In the long run which is a better option a LCD TV or Monitor ?

    4)Can a laptop with 1440x900 resolution give out a resolution of 1680x1050 or more on an LCD TV with absolute clarity and no signal loss via a HDMI port ?

    5)Which is the ideal size and resolution of the LCD TV with respect to Dell XPS 1530 laptop .

    6)Are Dell monitors good ones ?

    7)It would be very helpful if you could post a picture of your respective LCDs showing the output of your laptop on it .
