    I have a few suggestions...

If she is looking for something durable and portable, the latitude D610 would be a good choice. It's fairly light but doesn't have a tiny screen. The latitudes are the better series of notebooks out of the two. She can purchase this in Small Business.

If she wants something ultra small, the Inspiron 700m would be a good choice. It is the smallest notebook within her budget. Another option would be the Inspiron 6000. It has a bigger screen than the previous suggestions and will weigh a bit heavier.

The inspiron series do have good notebooks, but they don't have the quality and durability of the latitudes. With the inspiron series, you can buy this from either home or small business. If she buys it from home, she can use our coupons located here : http://www.notebookreview.com/dellCoupon.asp

Cheak out the m140, its a very nice machine what what you pay for. Has the best battery life of any dell with a 9 cell (around 5 hours with internet on and a few apps running)
