    The video is too crappy for me to make out anything, but from what I've seen, problems with the hinges and the surrounding plastics were/are relatively common over the entire Studio line. Obviously this is not supposed to be normal, but I just don't think the Studios were all that well designed in general.

    Sorry about the quality, but without external light it is impossible to get a better picture. Since I bought my Studio it had only issues. I made another video, hope that is better.

    It's still very hard for me to make out anything, but it looks like you might just need to tighten the screws that secure the hinge to the base.

    They were a bit loose, but the bezel is broken now. I wish I bought some other laptop. Had HP before with no issues whatsoever...
