Hi All ~ I was just perusing my Sunday paper, and came upon my Best Buy ad, and on the front of the ad "Now Available at Best Buy" "Dell", they are also available at BestBuy.com!

Anyone checked these out? Look's like Best Buy is selling the XPS 1330, Inspiron 1521, 1420, XPS One Desktop & 531 Desktop. I hadn't really digged around to much, though!

When I was at Best Buy a few week's back, they said they thought they were going to roll the product out at the end of December.

I don't think I will go thru Best Buy to get a Dell, though! :)

A few days ago at my local BestBuy (co.springs) they had the XPS 1330 on display. It looked really nice except the keyboard had a very cheap feel to it. Thats my only gripe with the XPS 1330.

Interesting that they are selling the 1521, which has been discontinued on Dell's own website.

Yeah, that's stock clearing for sure. Same thing with Inspiron 1505 at Walmarts.

I'm actually going to stop by my local Best Buy this afternoon because I want to have a look at the XPS 1330 (I have never seen one in person & I have to buy some other stuff). But, I am still going to buy online because it is a much better deal.

What I find funny is that at my local Best Buy ~ the rep's on the floor have spent time in the past telling me, and I'm sure other's how much they "despise" Dell computers, and now they have to sell the Dell's and accommodate that they like selling them!!! But, that is how retail works ~ ever changing.

I imagine Dell will offer retailer exclusive systems. I really hope they don't go the way of retailers.

I agree it is funny how people working in retail will bash other brands just to sell their's. When I worked for radioshack I never bashed another.

Thats typical of a b&m store not to have better options. Most people that buy a laptop from a store don't know much about them enough to think they need or would want anything better. They just look at price and assume higher == better.

Best Buy and Walmart do not sell the 1720 for some reason - I want to get a feel for the size in person, but they only have the smaller ones.

Staples has the 1721. You may want to call ahead and make sure it is on display, it can vary from store to store.
