From what I hear it isn't even a standardized specification. Isn't it too early to get the Wireless USB?

Been a standard for nearly 3 years. But not many products, probably because it's not very useful.

I got it on my 1530 and I love it. Works flawlessly, not external anything. Just plugged two printers and an external hd into it and voila! Highly recommend it.

Yep, I guess it's not useless, but useful with caveats. For printers, you can get print servers for less than the cost of wireless USB and share your printer with every computer on the network, not just one. Likewise, you can get network drives for less than the cost of wireless USB and share among all your computers. And for drives being used through Wireless USB, I'd be careful since if you lose your connection during a write you could get corrupted data and your running applications could crash. It would be similar to suddenly yanking a wired drive out, except the wireless nature makes it more finicky so it could happen without your meaning to.
Since basically printers and drives are the only applications good for Wireless USB, there are better and safer alternatives. -
The internal miniPCI card is actually called the TrueMobile 400 Ultrawide Band card FYI. It is indeed internal, and comes with a Belkin wireless USB hub. Ideally, it would be nice to see Logitech pick up on this technology and come up with webcams and notebook mice that could directly communicate with WUSB, but let's see...
