LOL, not happy with the people Dell sends out to fix your machine??

Become a Dell certified tech, and then make them send you the parts....

Hahaha, how funny would it be when you call your laptop in...would this mean that you don't void the warranty, since you are certified?

One, you have to pay for that certification, and pay every year to renew it. you would be stupid to become one if you are not in the tech department of a business. 2nd, you can fix your own laptop without voiding the warranty already. Their certification tests are a joke by the way. Thats why they charge for them or everyone would have it.

So... become a certified technician and pay Dell to let you fix your machine!

    Sounds like a great deal.

On the other hand, I fix my own Dells anyways.

My employer paid for the certifications from Dell.

    Yes, they are a joke.

Does Dell recognize A+ certifications? If you have an A+ certification, do they not void your warranty if you replace something inside your laptop?

I can fix my laptop now..I just need to put my foot down and say I wanna do the repairs not the depot, not the techs, not anyone but me. Then my "special" order is sent. Without a voided warranty (unless I intentionally break something).

    lmfao..

Plus if Dells course is such a joke, it'll explain some of these duds for techs we usually are prone to get.

A+ Certification is pretty much an equivalent to the prize you get in a box of Cracker Jack.

6 months worth of real experience would give you enough to challenge the exam and pass it.
