I have Inspiron e1505 with windows vista home inside.

And I have a problem with the battery. She does not charging.

As soon as I take out a wire from my pc, hi is switch off imidiatly.
When I take out the battery, desktop indication say, that the battery is absent. And when I insert the battery, the indication of charging blink on my desktop, show charging, on pc led is blinking too. But after 10 sec, they dies away both.
When I take out the battery, and I press the tester button, the tester shows that the battery is empty.

With AC adapter my pc work normaly,
i am updated my bois, but it isn't help.

Still one week ago the battery worked normally, sufficed for 3 hours.

What it's can be? What i have to do?

    It seems to me too.
The question is, if is possible to restore or to reset the battery. to get it work again?
Because only one week ago it worked, and I think that litium elements it ok, most likely a problem is in she's scheme (short circuit or some circuit burnt)

It sounds extremely likely that you just had one cell in the battery pack fail on you. Unfortunately you cannot fix this.

My best advice is to search on eBay for a new Dell branded battery for the e1505.

 Yep DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX A FAULTY BATTERY!

The things inside are not to be messed with by human hands. Heck you can't even legally dump a battery on a tip (which should be all the warning you need about how hazardous the chemicals inside are thought to be).

Call dell support and arrange to have the battery replaced. If you do buy one from another source, then you will need to check where you can take the old one for safe disposal.
