I purchased my XPS M1330 back in Feb with both the 6 cell and 9 cell batteries. I’ve only been using the 6 cell up till about a week ago when I started using the 9 cell, I noticed with the 9 cell battery in, there is a bit of an uneven gap which was not there with the 6 cell. Well I called Dell just to see what they would say and I was immediately offered a replacement battery. I have to say the service was excellent as I called at around 4PM yesterday and I just received the new battery. My concern is this, the battery I have is revision A01 and the new replacement battery is revision A00. Does this mean I’m getting an older battery than I already have? Since I have the original battery for 9 months already how is this possible? It doesn’t say anywhere this is a refurb, and I am still under warranty. I have to wait to get home to see if there is any difference with the gap but should I be concerned about this?
