    hi i have recently downgraded my dell inspiron N7010 to windows Xp sp3 everything is working fine except for the battery which is not detected by windows xp there is no battery meter in the taskbar however the battery seems to be working fine because when i remove the ac adpater the laptop continue to work normally i also would like to point to another issue is when i have the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery enabled it takes 20% or more from cpu all the time so i keep it disabled can anyone provide me with a solution sorry for my english and thanks in advance
