I just noticed after charging up my notebook that overnight I lost about 4% or so of my battery!

This happened also with the laptop I returned from cyberpower. Is this normal? Is something staying on after I turn it off? Hmmm.. what can I do? The battery seems to drain all by itself.

Are you shutting down the system completely or are you letting the system go to standby ?

If the system is on standby I think the battery is used a little to keep it in that mode hence that may cause the slow drain, and to all notebook experts, correct me if im wrong :)

I have another battery question. Most of the time I leave mine plugged in why working. Does it effect the life of the battery?

No, it shouldnt affect the life of it but you should still use up most of it and recharge it once in a while.

But anyone have a clue as to why I lose charge overnight?

Have you charged the battery, removed it from the computer andsee what is left in the morning? That would tell you where the juice is going.
