I don't use battery much so I removed it, but the opening space is prone to dust. Does Dell sell a cap or something that covers the opening area of the battery slot?

Depends on your model - I know the old series of Inspiron 4150/Latitude C640 has a plastic or dummy cartridge that fits into the battery slot.

Did you have to buy it seperately? Where on Dell's page can I find something like that? Thanks.
