Hey I've had my M1210 for about 7 hours now and I've been using it for about 5 or them.

THe problem I've facing is that the battery (9cell from dell) Isn't being recognized by the comp. The only way that it will power or even turn on is when it's plugged into the AC. I've been looking around on the dell site and couldn't really find anything too helpful. WHen I go to the BIOS page in the battery part it says "battery not installed". And when I press the test button on the bottom of the battery it self, I don't get any results, like not one light flashes on or anything. And when I press the FN + F3 it shows nothing under the battery status and it says "cannot communicate with battery" under the battery health. And when plugged in the battery charge status light doesn't come on.

The battery did work before as I did run it for about half a hour just on battery before.

So does anyone have any ideas on what's going on here??

Please lend a hand if you are able to...

    -Ricco
