    Battery Meter for Inspiron 8500

    Fn + F3 should bring up the battery meter for the Inspiron 8500 but nothing happens. I can check through diagnostics but that is the long route. Any suggestions to try would be appreciated.

    You probably need to install QuickSet or whatever the QuickSet equivalent was for the 8500.
