    hi guys

    i bought dell inspiron n5010 since few days and i noticed battery led which is located in laptop body it self on left side isnot working at all

    so am wondering wht is ths battery led status

    why its nt lighting at all

    in my x acer it was light in green color and orange

    The indicator should only light when the battery is charging. If such is not the case, you should contact Dell and have them take care of it. I assume you are still under warranty if you've only had the laptop a few days.

    Yes, the LED should light up when charging. Your LED maybe defective, do any of the other LEDs light up? Dell may need to replace that board.

    thx so much 4 reply my post

    here it is wht i discovered

    battery led dnt work except n 2 cases

    1st while rechargeing white light & battery power is under 98%
    2ed whn battery power is under 9% orange light will appear

    off i was afraid i have 2 run 2 service n my 1st days i already got enough 4rm my x ACER :( laptop
