In my Thibkpad X200 there is Lenovo battery maintainance program that allows me to set when to start charging the battery (When its 10% left or whatever number you pick) and when to stop charging( When its 95% charged or whatever number you pick) . This is one way to extend battery life , as I read in some article .

I just got Dell Inspiron11z with Windows-7 professional. I didn't find any such program from Dell or in-built in windows. Is there any freeware or not too expensive program that I can download/buy , that will allow me to do that on Dell inspiron-11z?

    Thanx
