Using Windows Live Messenger. No headset. I know it works fine with the headset, but I dislike being tied to my laptop with wires. Even after endless hours configuring the mic the echo is aweful...that is for the person I'm talking to. According to Creatives website the array is supposed to cut echo along with other background noise out by producing a 'beam' toward the speakers position. Anyone using WLM without a headset on an 1420/1520/1720 experience bad echo? The echo is bad for person on the other end not me. Thanks for your help :)
