This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Backup Dell CDs....

    Is it legal for me to make backup copies of my Dell CDs? (Windows OS, PowerDVD, Drivers Disc, etc.) :confused:

    I can't see why not. As long as you aren't distributing them, only keeping them for backups.

    FYI, the driver's disks are usually outdated. What I used to do was to go go the dell website and download all the drivers to a folder and rename the alpha-numeric codes to what they actually were. (modem,wireless,chipset, etc) That way you know which to install first after a reformat.
