Recently bought my 1520 and am on the market for a good bag.
    It's been a bit tricky since it's dimensions: (h) 37.3 mm ([1.47 inches) - front 45 mm ( 1.65 inches) - back/ (w) 358.7 mm ( 14.12 inches) / (d) 269 mm ( 10.59 inches) are a bit larger than most 15.4" widescreens.

I'm willing to pay a bit more if it will give me comfort (as a college student I walk around quite a bit) and protection (as a college student I have stupid friends :D ). Specifically, I've been looking at the SwissGear Synergy Backpack, the Timbuk2 Commuter XL, the Crumpler Horseman, and the Tom Bihn Ego bags... but none have given me complete confidence in buying it yet.

Anyone have any suggestions/advice to give?

I ordered a Timbuk2 back with my XPS1330. It looks like yours should just fit in a medium size. Although the height is a little bit over their spec. I have heard good things about these backs, and you can customize their messenger bag to be all black, or whatever you want.

Hmm, yeah. Still kind of worried about the extra height though (Expecially since I'll have a 9-cell) which was why I was thinking of upping to a Commuter XL.

Also Timbuk2 isnt carrying anything but pink-plum-pink in Laptop Messenger M right now... so... yeah.

Whoa! That's a lot cheaper. Where did you buy it?
