    I called dell today and they want 1999.99 for the 8800M SLI for the m1730 what a rip off..... that is to upgrade a computer that you have with the 8700 sli oh ya it cost 579 man dell is very expensive......

    Thats just the price to scare people away. I believe the real price is around 900~ which some people have been successful in getting.

    If you call Dell and they give you that price, just tell them you can buy a $2000 computer from someone else that performs as good or better than what you are looking for. That will probably get them to lower the price.

    well I will just stick with my single 8800m GTS good luck to you dell guys... you all must be rich... just kidding I like dell I want one just can see my self speding that much money on a laptop.....
