Bought this refurb from the dell outlet not to long ago. Maybe a month? Running vista home premium and yesterday I got a BSOD coming out of sleep with the lid closed. Today I was just surfing the internet and it BSOD'd again. Is this a typical MS sucks and can't make a stable OS thing or should I be concerned my hardware is crapping out? I've seen a lot of threads about M1210 mobos dying and the like and I'm kinda worried... CPU temps are fine but I have no way of checking gfx temps under vista.

I don't have the A/V package or the bluetooth module installed. No antivirus software either.

What did the BSOD or event log report?

And Windows does not BSOD normally unless there is a major problem.

Although it is/may not be related but since you do surf the internet, I highly recommend installing an anti-virus program...

    Nope, no web cam.

    I haven't used an antivirus since 1999, don't need one. If I get a virus I reformat.

How naive. You actually think reformatting takes out all viruses?

I think you have a better chance of discovering them with an anti-virus than just blindly formatting your hard drive. :)
