This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    BOOTMGR is missing, BOOTMGR is compressed

    Eversince I reformatted the HDD on my I6400 to two 70 gb partitions (as opposed to factory setting - 1 140gb partition + 1 10 gb recovery partition) and after installing a clean copy of vista, I've been getting this error with acrobat 8 professional (the program automatically closes after 30 seconds). :confused: :confused:

    Anyone know how to fix this on vista?
