    BIOS overclock of gpu in vostro 1500..

    Anyone know how to do it, or have access to a guide? The performance of my card in games is really inconsistent. I'll be getting 100+ fps for 95% of the game, then it'll drop to 3 when I use a particular gun, or something else like that. I'm using 163.44 drivers.

    it's likely that some program comes up while you're playing that lags it. one commmon thing is a sudden anti-virus scan that will drop your fram rate tremendously. well, i don't really know..

    The 8400GS or the 8600GT on the Inspirons/Vostros are not MXM cards but based on some DELL proprietory slot...
