    Hey everyone,
I was looking at buying a new 6000 and i started with the basic config that starts at $1349 (not including the discount), then when I add the following:

    Pentium M 730 Processor- add $35
    24X CD-RW/DVD-ROM- add $20
    128MB ATI X300- add #34
    9-cell batter- add $69
So that's a total of $158 so the new total of the laptop should be $1507.

However, the new config shows up as $1576.

    What's the Deal?????

those upgrade prices are the prices after discount, for example, actual price with 30% off is $35, then the price they add is 35/70% which makes it $50.
