I'm assuming you bought from eBay, I hope the reseller had a good reputation, because that whole story about if it sounds too good to be true then...lookout it coulde be a scam.

Yes, it is backed by buyer pertection of $1000. If your not satisfied with your purchase you can file a claim with Paypal, and they will work with the seller and you. If the seller doesn't respond you will recieve a refund. If he does respond, between you, him and a paypal guy, they will try to work things out. So far I have been quite satisfied with my purchasees on ebay, that I paid thorugh paypal, ocasionally I have filed a claim and gotten $ back.

By the way.... how the heck did you get the Dell B130 for $420 with the specs? The best I could have done is around $500 at the cheapest..

 

This language is a red-flag. It's waving in your face. It's extremely likely that it's a lie. You may still be getting what is advertised, and it may be a good deal, and they may have just used it to attract attention, but it's a phrase that is commonly used to fool people into thinking they're getting a good deal on something when the reality is something else.

Buyer beware.

 

YES, I NEVER BUY FROM AN AUCTION WHERE THE DESCRIPTION IS IN ALL CAPS. AND BIGFOOT IS RIGHT, IF THE COMPANY WAS OVER STOCK, THEY WOULD PROBABLY LIQUIFY THEM BY SOME OTHER MEANS, NOT $410 ON EBAY.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that sure reads like a scam. What is the feedback rating of the seller?

 

Its better to check their feedback before buy from them. I wont buy a laptop from a seller without previous laptop selling history. Or you can even send a message to those who recieved a laptop from the seller. I bought my laptop brand new on ebay also. It was a pretty good experience.
By the way.. I sold my old Compaq presario (1.8ghz, 512 ram, 30gb) with laptop bag, BT a week ago on ebay. I sold it for $440. It was even expensiver than this B130
