    Average CPU Temp?

    What should the max temperature of a dell m1530 be? I have a Intel Duo Processor T8300 (2.4 Ghz).

    Typically no more than 58 degrees. :) Though if you do any intense gaming and such it might rise up a bit more, but nothing detrimental.

    i have the t8300 too.
    max temp after 3 consecutive benchmark tests (stock fan settings): 63c

    Keep it within 45-75c and youll be fine. The cooler the better

    Also, you might want to check out the undervolting guide in the hardware forum...might knock off about 10 C off your maximum cpu temperature

    I have the 9 cell battery so mine get a bit more air under it :rolleyes: and my average temp in 40deg currently at 42 :cool:

    Hmm, after about an hour of COD4 on medium res. and everything turned on, I get 70 + 68 degrees Celsius on cores 1+2 respectively (using hwmonitor), but I stay around 45-50 while doing normal tasks.

    mine stays in the early 40's.. peaking around 68-70-72ish... and with the zalman min is actually like 32/36 for respective cores and max when normal work 55-60 both cores, though its stable at 40-45....
