I purchased a avertv hybrid tuner along with my studio 17 . Anyways when i tried setting up the tuner with vista media center I was asked what region im located in. I chose Canada as i live in vancouver, but was given an error msg stating that "the tuner hardware does not support the tv format for your region". How can this be? Why would dell sell me a piece of hardware that doesnt work in canada. I bought my studio from dell.ca too.

Has anyone had this same problem and how can it be rectified. thx

My dad couldn't get his to work either. Go to the dell site, enter your tag, d/l the drivers.
Why they don't preinstall them is beyond me
