    Hey,

My friend has a dell xps and we were wondering if there is a program that will automatically scroll through the different colours of the LED's.. kind of like make the LED's fade into each other or something or anything like that...

has anyone done it? or is it possible to do?

    Thanks

I think that the colors of the LED's are static. Are you talking about the status lights? If so, then they cannot (and more importantly, should not) change colors.

sorry I should've made this more clear. I meant the LED's that come out of the back (on the XPS lettering) and the LED's that are on the fans on the sides

there is a program that is installed that lets you manually set it to a colour but it can just be one colour and we were hoping we could make it automatically rotate through the colours

Go to the Dell site and download the latest version of Quickset, it has the LightFx package. It lets you do that and other things as well

Now to figure out how to get them to fade in and out while the lid is closed.

With such an innovative idea of a light show you would have thought they would give you more options.
