Anyone remember what it was to call to get the automated status of your build? I couldn't find it again on Dells site.

Thanks. In build stage now.... hope they go fast. I leave for school on the 14th. I did the search both on here and on dells site. Dells site just gave me the website status check page which doesn't give detailed info, and searching here just brought up 200000000 pages of people talking about their order status, and I don't have 5 hours to look through that for a number.

I'm a m1330er ... so I don't know about the build times for the new Vostro's. Look in the Vostro threads and see how they're doing. I know Vostro was recently released so it might take time...

Lately I get put on hold when trying to check my status... What used to take half a second takes 6+ minutes. This is just insane! I don't even bother anymore because a computer voice puts you on hold when trying to locate another computer voice.

Been playing elevator music since Saturday...left my cell phone, came back 3 hours later...same freegin' music...

I'm also getting elevator music. If it's all automated, since Dell is a computer company, you figure they'd have enough computers to handle people calling to check on their delayed laptops. I guess it's more complicated than that. Still, I would like to know what my order is up to.
