Does anyone know if there is a phone number that you can call to check the status of your order for Canadian orders? I see that the US has one and was wondering if Canada had a similar #?

Call Support...800-847-4096 press 1-2-1 then when the girl answers you can check the status for your order... its not automatic though and you need your order number and shipping address before they'll disclose information

    rep? :D :p

But the reps can't tell you which specific stage of production your order is in.

So I just called the number and after waiting on hold for 35 minutes the lady told me my order has been delayed for a third time:
    ESD 1 Aug 6
    ESD 2 Aug 17
    ESD 3 Aug 21
    ESD 4 Aug 30

AND I've been unable to get any freebies or compensation from dell for my troubles. AHH!

Dell Canada doesn't give out a thing, no next day shipping, no credit, no upgrades, nothing.

Dell Canada does give out upgrades, lots of them. We have been over this a few times and I know there is an article somewhere here that people keep writing me back and saying thank you about.

Now...as for the CSR. I found out this. Some CSRs have access to a computer program in Dell called DOBS. If you get the right CSR, they can tell you exactly where your system, what part its waiting for and when its expected to be done. I just found this out yesterday.

We definitely do get upgrades in Canada. I can vouch for that as well, although not to extent of flamenko.

Hey flamenko, whatever happened to giving one to your son?! You greedy bas..... ;)
