    Greetings and Salutations...

I have a 1520 with 8600m-gt. I want to pick up a DC converter to run the laptop from my Car. What specs should I utilize for the adapter to make sure I get enough power? I have several "regular" AC adapters. One is for 65 volts. If I use that, it says my laptop is running in low power mode. I just want to make sure I get the correct specs for a DC adapter.

Thanks for your time and effort.

65 watts if you were on integrated for anyone wondering, and 90watts for dedicated. Although if you have SLI, might wanna go higher to those curious people out there. (not implying just on the 1520)

Hope you're not computing and driving at the same time.. That'll be the next thing now after cell phones, drinking and being stoned while driving.
