    Auidio on a 1405, correct drivers??

    Hi there.

    A question because dell support is terrible!


    So just reinstalled XP, installed required drivers (NSS, chipset, etc)
    Everything is working fine again, save for I can not get any audio to play.

    Downloaded/installed the audio driver from dell.
    Still no audio!

    goto your device manager (right click on my computer-->properties-->hardware tab-->device manager). Is there a yellow question mark by any of the devices? You also might want to double check your audio settings - mute/volume to make sure that everything is turned on/up.
