I'm using the Kensignton port replicator provided by Dell with my e1505. It worked fine for the first couple of months, but now the audio out from it sometimes turns into static and stays that way until I reboot the port replicator.

I don't think the problem is with my notebook because simply unplugging and plugging it back in doesn't solve the problem. I have to also cycle its power.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Have you tried reinstalling the dock drivers? They might have been damaged and causing the problem.
