    Audio output from both laptop and HDTV, how to disable laptop audio output?

    when i connect my laptop (m1530) to my HDTV, sound comes out from both the laptop and the HDTV. how can i disable the laptop audio output such that when a song or video is played the sound only comes out from my HDTV?

    jfyi, im using windows XP.

    i have just found out the solution. for those who didnt know just right click volume - open volume control - check advanced controls - advanced - tick PC Spk Mute.
