I've got a relatively new (2 mos old) 1420 running Vista SP1. Generally speaking the audio has worked OK; for instance, no dropouts when watching DVD's, on-line video etc.

However, today I was attempting to watch an instructional DVD made up of Quicktime movies and the audio was terrible (so bad, I had to stop - video was fine.) The same disc on my desktop machine ran fine.

I do have another instructional DVD that also uses Quicktime movies that runs fine - audio & video - on the 1420. I have the latest version of Quicktime. Any ideas?
