Hi, everyone, I'm planning to buy an audio card to enhance audio performance my i9300. Is the Creative Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA Card a good choice? But I never use such a sound card before, so do I need extra speakers to bring out the better sound effects? Or it just needs to be plugged in the slot then it works?

Yup - I would say that's the best one out there, though they are expensive but some good deals can be found through pricegrabber and one of those price compare sites. Turtle beach is another that you might want to look into as well.

For it to work with your notebook speakers, you need to download either the beta drivers or the newest ones and also, a certain tweak found on creative's website. If you do this, the sound will be delayed for a second or two because the sound has to be rerouted from the card to the speakers back again. You will have to use something external for the sound to be synched, but the package comes with headphones so you really don't have to invest on much more unless you want a good set of speakers.

EDIT: Also, be careful, it has been reported that the Audigy 2 may not work with laptops with a RICOH controller, being MAY the operative word since I have a RICOH controller and mine worked instantly on my laptop.
