    Audigy Software Edition? Worth anything?

    This option is just software, and not any different hardware, correct? Is it worth getting? My guess is "no", but the information on the Dell site is not exactly helpful.

    The price is cheap enough where it appears like the product doesn't cost dell anything, so I guess it is something you can just download that maximizes the integrated sound card's performance.

    Dont get it through Dell. If you end up wanting it you can get it through creative cheaper. I have heard it helps but I decided to get a USB sound card to make my sound better instead. Im happy with my decision.
