    Just reinstalled Vista today.
When it came to reinstalling advanced mb on the cd that dell supplied, I ran into a problem. The activation code wouldn't work.
When it requested an activation code I assumed the number provided on the cd would work. Perhaps I am using incorrect spacings and punctuation betwenn numbers? I there an activatin code provided somewhere in dell documentation?
Any help from those who have purchased the audigy advanced mb software would be much appreciated.

Usually when it comes pre-installed it is already activated. Your license has already been used once, I would get in contact with Dell to see if they can give you another key.

The activation code was on the CD envelope for my copy. I reformatted and reinstalled Vista as soon as I got my notebook and had to re-enter the Audigy key. It worked for me.

Hehe! Yep. It's a yellow sticker right on the sleeve flap that I believe even states in large bold letters " ACTIVATION KEY" and in small print " Please retain this sticker". Perhaps they should have swapped it around. ;)
