    A question:
    I know the Ati xpress 1150 on the inspiron 1501 is integrated, but does it take all the memory from the RAM memory? or it has some memory of its own?

    It doesn't have it's own memory. Everything is shared from system RAM

    I only wonder because the card is supposed to be 256 MB but it takes only 128 from the board RAM. I guess it might only be the BIOS setting.

    The extra 128MB won't help you. The card isn't even powerful enough to fully utilise what it has now.

    You CANNOT change in the bios. It has to be done under windows in the catalyst control center. You will find the option under "UMA Buffer size".
