Between these two laptops which one has the better screen? I need a laptop to show clients my portfolio and I've narrowed down to these two.

From what I've heard, the SXPS 16's RGBLED beats all other laptops.

But it is not possible to buy that screen right now :(

Now my options are between XPS 16 or Asus G51Jx or HP Envy 15

    Anyone?

I would stick to SXPS16. Used to own one (switched from Dell SXPS1640 to Asus G73) Even without RGBLED screen it's amazingly bright and colourful. G51 is not even close in the matter of brightness. Cannot say anything on Envy 15 though...

    Very nice photos, btw :)

Having seen the glossy 1080p Envy 15 screen and the XPS 16 screen, I'd say the XPS 16 screen beats the Envy screen. The contrast is better on the XPS screen, and the colors are also pretty off on the Envy screen (can be tuned, but it's just not the same). If you want some more input on the Envy however, you should look in the HP forums for posts by a guy named "JJB". He does photo editing using an Envy, and he's pretty knowledgeable about the screen.

One perk of the Envy however is that you can opt for a matte 1080p display, which is actually what I'm using right now. It's not quite as sharp, and it's slightly dimmer, but it reduces reflections by a lot, so if you're gonna be showing your portfolio in an environment with a lot of light, definitely consider that too.
