    Hello,

    i started this thread to get to know a bit more about the following. I'm hesitating in buying a new laptop. Which one do you think is better?

    Acer Aspire 5920G-602G25MN ( link)
    or
    Dell XPS 1530 (N01X5303) ( link)

    There are a few difference between them. One of them beiing the graphics card. They both have a NVIDIA 8600M GT. But the Acer has 512mb GDDR2 and the Dell has 256mb GDDR3. More differences (these specifications are the ones I would buy)

    Which one of these 2 notebooks is better?

    I know there are already tons of threads about the Gddr2 VS gddr3 etc. but I really would like some opinions from as many people as possible, which of these 2 (specific) laptops is the best to buy.

    You wrote "Aspire" 5920G.. shouldnt it be Acer?

    I would go with the Acer..

    Yea, that's a typo. Thanks for your opinion. May i ask why you would choose the Acer?
