Unfortunately... I've heard a ton of reports of the N router interfering with A/B/G signals... so if you live in a city, get ready for very POed neighbors.

I would like to, but I'm still figuring out what I'm going to do with my existing G clients so I can achieve optimal bandwidth for N...

I use to have a Netgear N router. I updated the firmware for both the router and the wireless receivers very often. They sucked. They pissed me off, so I sold it for $20 bucks and got a very nice 2wire router (a dsl modem and lan/wireless router combined).

I have owned 3 draft-N routers (Netgear WNR854T, Belkin N1, and Linksys WRT350N). Frankly, all 3 of them stink with factory firmware (The Netgear was by far the worst). Luckily, you can run 3rd-party Linux firmware on the Linksys WRT300N and WRT350N. I was about to give up my quest to find a stable N router until I decided to give DD-WRT for kicks. It has been stable, no drops, no reboots for 4 months solid now.

    DD-WRT on which one, WRT300N or WRT350N?

Do you have your 1420 yet? How does it work with the 4965?
