I just ordered the Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System (3-Piece). I have a Vostro 1500 laptop and was wondering if these will work? It says to plug it to the sound card and I don't know where that is? Anybody know anything about this?

If it's a 3.5mm jack or USB you'll be fine. Theres really not many other output types for computers besides for those main two.

BTW, having you're e-mail as you're username - bad idea. Spam bots will be spamming you like mad.

You can just plug them into the headphone jack of your laptop.

if it's a 2.1 system you'll be fine.. I got a 5.1 system so I had to buy an external USB audio card, works great tho :)

Yeah 2.1 should work fine since they need only one 3.5 mm jack.... 4.1 and 5.1 should also work I think but not so sure though if the jacks can be soft configured for functionality......
