    Are there differences in price when toggling between Home and Business?

    I've observed this. I spent most of the day looking at notebooks,
    particularly the XPS M1210, and I discovered that Medium & Large
    Business allows the reduction of warranty and other software,
    potentially saving me hundreds of bucks (particularly from the former).
    Also, does Dell observe and demand consistancy in ordering
    from Home or Business? And, are there inconsistencies with pricing
    and special offers between the categories?

    The pricing can be very different between home and business, generally the better deals are found on the home site.

    Dell Small Biz had better deals on the desktops when I bought my Dell Dimension 4700 about a year ago, however with laptops, Dell home seems to be cheaper
