    Are my 1520 Hinges Bad?

    I think there is a small nut you can tighten to make it firm, but if it wobbles only at a specific angle, then looks like the hinges are worn out or something..

    umm, my 1505/6400 did this until I tightened the screws for the hinge :p

    On mine there are tiny little rubber covers on the screws which, when tightened, keep the hinge from flexing like that.

    I've tried tightening up the hinges with no luck. Hmm.

    I've got this exact same problem on my 1520 that ive never been able to completely remove. I took my laptop to pieces and tightened a screw that is under the monitors bezel which seemed to help a little bit but it still see-saws

    Same issue here. It seems like it would simply be the screw holding the base of the hinge but the screws on the bottom on the laptop appear tight.

    I'm still under warranty but it would be nice to know the real cause/fix as this problem will probably reoccur.
